GeoID serves as a sophisticated tool for the precise measurement and analysis of geological structures. This application encompasses a geological compass, stereographic projection capabilities, instability analysis, and wireless data sharing functionalities.

 <li>The clinometer is designed to function at all device orientations, allowing users to accurately measure various structures.</li>
 <li>An integrated stability indicator enhances the clinometer's measurement accuracy.</li>
 <li>The application offers multiple configurable options including notation type, measurement intervals, average calculations, and projection types.</li>
 <li>Users can input data manually through various input methods.</li>
 <li>Immediate projection and analysis are available for selected projects.</li>
 <li>The software includes stereonet-based slope stability analysis features.</li>
 <li>Zoom capabilities are supported during both plotting and analysis phases.</li>
 <li>Wireless data transfer is facilitated via Bluetooth and email.</li>
 <li>The application can generate comprehensive analysis reports complete with stereonet images, which can be forwarded by email.</li>
 <li>GeoID is compatible with all iOS devices.</li>

GeoID has been developed by the Engineering Geology & GIS Lab at the Department of Energy Systems Engineering, Seoul National University, South Korea.

Prof. Hyeong Dong Park extends gratitude to Prof. Edward Keller and other faculty members from the Earth Sciences Department at the University of California Santa Barbara for their valuable suggestions and discussions that contributed to the enhancement of GeoID during his academic visit from 2011 to 2013.
